Wow... Ummm, can I just say that LIFE happened?  Seriously, it's been rough. There have been some bright spots too but... Well, I'll just say this: if I were to write what has happened to me and my family since my first journal entry, it would take many many pages.   My path seems to be taking a turn in the exact opposite direction that I thought would get me where I want to go. First of all: Happy Veteran's Day! My church did this awesome thing where after worship they played the songs for each of the 5 branches of the military and asked those who have served or are serving to stand up. Then we all clapped for them it was amazing! My own grandfather, who passed away a few years ago, served in WWII. He was there on D-Day. He wasn't one of the first waves, but he was still blessed to make it through alive. I thank God for that, because if he hadn't he wouldn't of come home, gotten married, and had my mom.
